This month's topic: Law & Disorder. Facilitated by staffers of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, this special edition of the Law & Disorder tour concludes with a custom Prohibition-era cocktail at a Downtown speakeasy. The tour explores how Colorado Springs officials fought to remain a “dry town” in “wet times;” the captivating story of how local law enforcement, concerned citizens and the Gazette newspaper worked to run the KKK out of town in the 1920s; and an infamous gun battle with train robbers in the streets of Downtown. PLEASE NOTE: THIS TOUR IS ONLY FOR GUESTS AGE 21 AND UP.
Participants are encouraged to arrive at the Pioneers Museum lobby by 3:15 p.m. Tour begins promptly at 3:30 p.m. Tour concludes at a Downtown speakeasy, where guests can enjoy a free custom Prohibition-era cocktail (included in ticket price). Costumes encouraged!
